Happy Holidays~

How was everyone's holiday? I had a great time with my niece and sister! :3 I ate more than I should have though!!! This picture has more editing on it than I normally do, because this outfit is how I would -love- to dress and have my figure look. It's legit ideal for me and I was so happy strutting around in it! Half way through editing it, my beloved showed me a better way... so it's done half badly and half well...x D I left it so you guys can watch me grow! Anyone else unsure how I did it, PLEASE ASK. <3 I'm all about helping us all grow out in this universe. :*

I have some Fifty Linden Friday goodies on, as well as an adorable baby from Black Bantam. Not a literal baby, I know, a furrrrrrrrrbaaaabyyyy~ They're just as important to me though!! I'm not much for dogs but look at all his wrinklessss so adorableee!! I have on the Classic GENUS head before updates because I took this a few days before Thanksgiving and the updates, but I have a babyface coming at you guys soon!! Natural Habitat

I was unsure what to call this until a friend of mine said I looked like a cowfairy in my own natural habitat. I laughed, because I really find this to be a comforting and appealing scene. So I guess it's true. ANYWAY THE GOODS~ oh my do I -love- this lingerie set by Blah at Burlesque. The fair in general was lacking a bit, in my opinion. I didn't see a lot that screamed 'burlesque' to me. I, however, love this little tied up set by Blah. Reminds me of what I think a burlesque lovie would look like after undressing a little. Still covered but tantalizing! The MASK is another Burlesque goodie by Pink Acid, which I have completely fallen for. Good thing it's all hearts, hm? Also sporting the new skin by Pink Acid at the Fashion Fair! These are my favorites of the set, but I saved the BEST for LAST! Mikazuki has recereated their wing set from the Sword Art Online series, adding all of them from the second arc. Not only are these babies still fully mesh AND tintable as they were, but now they have an animation that spreads them and emits sparkles while you're FLYING. <3 Too cute. Before I'm finished I just want to let you all know that Gorgeous Dolls has made her nails, long nails, and is making her pointed nails in a simple to use hud driven kit for The Mesh Project hands. The kids make the nails useable with ALL of TMP's current hand poses, and there's a special pastel edition available now. >//< <3 Heart is around the sparkles from the wing and the arrow is pointed to these perfect nails. <3

Oh Mai Lara, Happy Holidays indeeeed~

I've been up ALL night. Dunno why I thought this was a good idea, I'll probably sleep through Christmas day. GG. Luckily I have the only thing I have, had, and will ever need in my life right next to me. But enough sap, on to goodies! This is the other adorable dress by Geek & Blueberry for/in/with Cloud 9. I know there's a lot going on on my head, buut I loved the horns Jada made too much to pull them off just because I was wearing this CUTE ENOUGH TO DIE FOR hair by Pink Hustler which was/is at the Candy Shop. O: But that's not the biggest news I have for you on this eve of presents and whatever else, oh no! As usual I was oh so interested in the release of (yet another) new mesh body.

I was on the same boat with “Ugh another? Eff this!” until I saw the LEGS on this baby. Not only is the Maitreya Lara body compatible with slink bits, but it's rigged (like most of the others) to work well with things that are rigged to the arms in standard sizes. We all know I'm a -giant- The Mesh Project lover. I think their mesh is gorgeous and I've perfected how I want to look in SL with their goodies (and Pink Acid's Airashi skin and Soul's freckles but I digress). When it came to other bodies I was wholly disappointed when it came to the leg area. No one was giving the bodies inner thigh meat... or not nearly enough for my loving of bigger shapes anyway. I think Lara is the perfect mash up of TMP's gorgeous lower half's shape and Slink's bodies ability to wear things that are rigged to the arms. (Belleza's not in this fight for me kids, I haven't even tried it again since it's first release and the tetas had me running for good. Maybe another time.)

BUT THIS BRINGS ME TO MY NEXT POINTS, the nitty gritties~

Not only do I love the legs but the kitty on this thing is meshed in and so tiny and adorable that it's not at all eye scaring or stomach turning or anything else to those of us who don't want to run around with roast beef sammiches between our legs. Not to air my own laundry but I don't have bits hanging out between my skin parts and I don't want an av with them either. Up until this point I preferred tmp for having NO bits, but I think this is a cute mix! The tetas on this baby are slightly up pointed, which I'm not a huge fan of but it's not too noticeable unless naked and working your shape can make it next to not happen... just.. big boobs.. happens. XD Lastly the ASS on the baby is to DIE for. Seriously. I took two shots in two different positions just so you could see I wasn't working angles. It's datassssss. <3 Sorry for lack of shadows in holiday picture, I forgot. All pictures of the body were taking with 0 windlight. YES. I used the day cycle so you could see it in all of it's horror. (And it's still effin' beauriful!) This beaut also comes with hands & Feet but since lack of Slink is what's complained about in terms of TMP I wore the slinkies with this. Wrist and ankle cuffs worn only because I tinted the body to match a skin I have and it's not seamless colorwise; however the XS Hands and feet fit perfectly.

Speaking of beautiful, the body is only $2750L. :'D Much better than some 4k for a back up body that allows me to use slink I M O.

In times of need she looks to the stars

The sky has always been somewhere I've... been entranced by. Perhaps that's why I oh so adored the last found of C88 for being super nova. It's so mythical and mysterious, it can hold all the good and bad anyone can imagine, but cannot reach. It represents goals, wishes, darkness, and fears all at once. It's as if it, in itself, is balance...

BEGIN RANT THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CLOTHES

Balance is something I think is important to have in life, and with too much of a tip on one side of any scale things are bound to fall one way or another. In times of needed balance, I think it's nice to look to the sky and try to gather my thoughts. As my anxiety began increasing, my sky grew ever darker, to the point there was nothing to look up to any longer. Within all that darkness lovebug became my one glimmer of light. Now life is trying to dilute his shine until it, too, is nonexistant. It'll never happen, of course, I'll always see his shine... but I've become really aware of a few other stars that have sprung up in my sky recently. Almost painfully aware.

At first it was one simple shine, and then two, and before I knew it I had my own little stary sky. I'd like to give a little mention to those people. Those who, in dark times when neither lovebug nor I can actually think outside of our panicked state can give us advice through a clear mind. Those who, despite arguments never belittle how much one has done for the other and not only acknowledges the importance of our roles in each other's lives but respects that not all can agree and that sometimes if it's too hard you just have to walk away because when it comes down to it some people are just bad for each other. Those who, despite not thinking they have a large role say little things that can not only cheer me up but make me feel like I have meaning.

Lili, Pepper, Val, you are all quite bright stars in my sky. <3

I noticed more though, all the girls that come to hang out with us every Friday night, be it for the freebie Gacha doubles we give out or the spam of new lolita prints or mention of stores where you can get cheap/quality stuff or custom sized stuff to bring our fashion love in to the real world or just people who adore to stare at us jumping around in our frills and grace us with your presence. You're all stars in my sky. :]

Designers who don't give up no matter how they're crapped on or misjudged. Hated, or trash talked... belittled or downed... those who have the fight, you're all stars in my sky. Well, not just designers. Anyone, really. The strength to push on no matter what makes anyone a star.

Each and every one of you who come to read my ranty posts be them about clothes or about random goodies, you're all stars in my sky. <3

Stars are important, and in times of need... I look to the stars.

END NEEDLESS RANT NOT ABOUT CLOTHES

I think my facination with the sky is also why I loved this dress so much. Yes, it's lolita, too, and that got me... but it's a template and I try oh so hard not to blog too many of those. Not because those who just texture them are doing less work, but because I feel like everything begins to look the same with templates and that designers who take the time to not only 3d model, but also rig and hand paint their own textures derve a little more show than they get on a lot of the blogs I see. Recolors on templates are oh so common, but someone who uses them as a guide to create art in their own little way is still a treat. I feel like this dress is kind of there. I love the added ruffle that makes it long enough to cover my knees (Which pleases me since I think knees are a little.. weird? XD)

THESE SOCKS are another thing that pleased me oh so much. They're from my newly beloved Buttery Toast, who you've all heard me ranting about before. They're called the Ribbon Socks and they're not even her newest! Just WAIT until I show you the toeless ones. HNG!!! I think ALL of her socks are worth a pick up! THESE THOUGH. The lace, the bows, the lines along the sock that gives them a little hint of realism. THE BOWS. Did I mention the BOWS?! I really love the work she's done on her mesh skirts, too!! I really need to shopping spree there!! Later this week I have adorable cat body suits from her to show you (Maybe tomorrow, even!) soso keep an eye out, and here's a LM!!!

Last oh so honorable mention of tonight are these AMAZING heels by Mango Cheeks which can be picked up in the first room of Chapter 4. You get TWO PAIRS of SLINK MEDIUM HEIGHT shoes for 199L Not only are they AMAZINGLY (I feel like Billy Mayse<SP?) affordable, but hnngg the butterfly type bow on the back makes me cream! Good thing the stockings are white, hm? ;D
