Wish Upon a Star

I hope everyone's new year has begun well and that happiness, light, and love shine upon all of you. My first picture of the year is inspired by the new beginnings most people feel around this time. Nostalgic over years past, hopeful over days to come, and renewed in purpose as if the year changing is a sign to change within ourselves.

I'm hoping to be strong and courageous this year in terms of caring for myself and getting to where I want to be mentally. Each year I get closer to where I want to be, thankfully with the help around me, and within this year I plan to make some changes/moves I've been avoiding for a few years. One of which will be bringing myself back to here. As a blogger I've never felt good enough or artistic enough. As blogging changed I decided I didn't want to keep up; I like showing items off more than myself. To me it's the objects I'm showing that are and should be the focus, not my avatar or the beauty I've attained here; unless it's being shared for you to also obtain the same look. (Or close, I keep my shape to myself.) I'm not talented enough to mix the two, I felt, so I backed out of doing it at all outside of things I thought were really fun/adorable to show everyone. I enjoy taking the pictures, though, and dressing up. I enjoy getting the credits in order (less now that they're so hard but I've developed a way to get around that for myself! <3) I'm going to get back to doing the things I enjoy and I hope you guys can enjoy them with me. <3

Hey cuties, nice to see you again! Today I have on a cute set I found from Le Fil Casse. I really love the little tail meshed up the back, it's super cute! Since I like to be more modest I covered it with some cute shorts from Paper Arrow and a cardigan from Pixicat~ Accessories are from Epic @ The Chapter 4 and Kataonik as well as Cubic Cherry Kre-Ations, Black Bantam, and Alaskametro.

Another newbie for me is this beautifully tanned skin, named Lily Rose by Pink Acid. It was available @ Cosmetics' fair and will be in mainstore soon. Images were taken on low graphivcs, sorry guys, I was sick and didn't want to re-take them. I think all the details are pretty enough, no? Hello Dearies~ Another day, another... day? Kidding, kidding! Happy Turkey Day to those who celebrate! <3 Haha. I don't have much to say really, outside of I went back to the Geeks & Nerds event and found some awesome stuff. One being this dress which is made by Okkbye AND has appliers for The Mesh Project. You all know I'm a sucker for anything Tmp because I oh so love this bodybody~ I also really loved the computers by Boom which I got the tato version of. (Eee kawaii potatooo <3) Darkened Stare & Sweet Thing joined up again to make these adorable little monsters that remind me of the omnom plants (As I used to call them) from Mario! :D <3 Super cute, I played the gacha until I was out of L I was so in love. These adorb sneakers were a great deal at The Dressing Room, and Altair made a backpack with a saying on it that could not be more true! Cats can fix anything! <3

I had so many plans for us this weekend! I woke up Friday morning to my phone ringing and ringing and ringing. It was the guy to fix my computer, so I lost all my plans! However, pictures were already taken so you'll have to wait to see what I can do now! I'm so behind, so you'll be hearing a lot from me until I'm caught up! First up is Violent Seduction's newest fitted mesh dress called Maria, which I am completely in love with. I love the ornamental metal design over the dress. Gives it a more fantasy and armor type feel to it which is really interesting and awesome, in my eyes. It's been a while!!!

Man oh man what a week it has been! My cat has turned in to a stage 5 clinger from being in the kennel all week and sooo many events are going on and have started!! Summer fest, arcade, level up, mushroom kingdom, kustom 9, hello sunshine chapter 4, c88.... @____________@!!! I kinda... fell in to a few of them? Haha.

That baby was taken at the Mushroom Kingdom, which I have to say I fell in love with immediately! Don't forget to go swimming, there are gachas hiding in the water level!

Everything I have piled on was inspired by this awesome hair made by LCKY. It made me think of the Dango Daikazoku from Clannad and I just wanted my head dangos to have just as many friends! Many from the Arcade which is closing in a WEEK so don't forget to get over there!!

My birthday is tomorrow and I feel like each of these events and their awesome and fun items are like presents for me to enjoy on my big day! Hahaha. So as we know this round of C88 is back to work and businessesy stuff! As much as I disliked the theme because it makes me think of sad things like my inability to work right now. It also made me smile to be able to think of when I can work again. It also made me think of how much work I've been doing on SL. Haha

So before I go on about the goods lemmie explain what I mean by work on SL. As I've mentioned I have a lolita group dedicated to the love of the lolita fashion. We've opened up a small mini mall on the ground floor of my homestead. :D It's open now and we've gathered a few stores that have the best in lolita accessories and cute things alike that can be used in almost any of the lolita sub genres. Violent Seduction, The Sugar Garden, Buttery Toast, Ni.Ju, Witches & Rats, and Amai decorate the place! There are group gifts in the HQ Which has a tea room, a reading room, and a gifts room! There will be more coming, but for now that's that and it's open! Some stores have Friday night sales for the meets due to that being our meeting night. Please remember it's a homestead, so try to keep your scripts low when visiting. <3 There are 6 extra Gacha items hidden on the sim from the meet last night that I'm leaving throughout the week. :D

On to these goods. THIS. DRESS. Omg I died when I saw it. It's everything I think the modern day business woman would love. Tight, sexy, short, but still very... well.. modest since the goods ARE covered. It leaves some to the imagination and keeps it businessy still while giving it the sex appeal and flair any woman would want. (Ok maybe not ANY woman but you know, I generalize LOL) These amazing glasses are a snag from this round of kustom 9 and are so darn cute and classy all at once AHH. <333 Last but oh so not least are these amazing shoes from the secret store. Loving freckles and all so much I also picked up the cosmetics pack which has a ton of freckle and beauty mark/mole options. I honestly didn't try a single one I -didn't- like! This baby has available appliers for the azz, hands, feet, and tangos sos grab it while you can because the detailing and shading on it is BEAUTIFUL.
