Let's go on a Trip!

I was awoken this month to an amazing surprise. An artist I've been following since some point last year or the year before released her newest album, and it came at a time I -really- needed it. Feeling lost in life with what I am, want, and where to go... Jhene Aiko has again brought me to a place of peace when I was feeling chaotic.

I'mma link the song that inspired the whole shebang set up. Pictures were taken forever ago and were not meant to go with this song but, it fit. It was around this time I'd lost my way again and some friends had shown up and I got up, sort of, and found my way again. Finding myself lost again, not relying on anyone to get up with because it's clear I belong alone, this whole album and the short Movie, Trip, which I'll link below is really worth a watch and listen. Speaking of people I've been watching, the outfit, metal spirals and all (Which are rigged!) are by Cubic Cherry! I've watched the little Kreao-Onion since... gah I dunno I got in to SL? I was pulled in by Final Fantasy inspired goods, you know how I am with those... and I've honestly never been disappointed. Seeing rigged clothing and accessories for one of SL's most favored bodies by Cubic Cherry has me really happy. I know I'm late to the yay game but... I've been a mess!

If you went, here's some background. Jhene Aiko lost her brother to cancer in 2012 and always saw the two of them as two halves of a whole. Without him she became lost and tried to fill that void with anyone and anything. Her newest project, Trip, is a MAP (Which is an acronym for Movie, Album, and Poetry Book) through her struggles and trying to find her way in hopes others can to.

I moved! For those of you who know me, you know... for those who don't the tl;dr is my mother has chosen another man over helping the child that her lack of parenting has caused more mental illness in than I know what to do with so I am left to fend off all my demons all on my own; at least if they had their way. I, fortunately, have amazing friends and am in an ok position an restarting the continued battle for my own mental health. This starts with getting back in to things I love. World Of My Own

If I had a world of my own everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't and contrariwise, what it is, it wouldn't be and what it wouldn't be, it would.

I spend a lot of time to myself watching Netflix and with just one close friend of mine, but lately I've been more social! Hey cuties, nice to see you again! Today I have on a cute set I found from Le Fil Casse. I really love the little tail meshed up the back, it's super cute! Since I like to be more modest I covered it with some cute shorts from Paper Arrow and a cardigan from Pixicat~ Accessories are from Epic @ The Chapter 4 and Kataonik as well as Cubic Cherry Kre-Ations, Black Bantam, and Alaskametro.

Another newbie for me is this beautifully tanned skin, named Lily Rose by Pink Acid. It was available @ Cosmetics' fair and will be in mainstore soon. Images were taken on low graphivcs, sorry guys, I was sick and didn't want to re-take them. I think all the details are pretty enough, no? End & Begin Again.

I've begun to learn a lot of things in my time on my journey to peace... one of them is why I've grown to dislike blogging. I've done it less and less because of that, in addition to my health of course, and come back every time I could get an outfit reasonably easily enough to blog for you guys. I started going out with some friends in SL and was dressing more, and wanting to share these looks, which is when I realized I didn't dislike blogging. I dislike the limitations we have on attachable items right now, in second life. With a mesh head (3), a mesh body with hands and feet (7), and hair, eyes, ears, and piercings (8) I've used 18 of my 38 attachment points. It doesn't sound like a lot to have used, and it is totally possible to make a kick ass looking outfit with the remaining 20 spots... but keeping track of the type of outfits -I- personally like to wear means I need to wear applier huds for multiple players as well as clothing and accessories on top of all of that, and more often that not I'm maxing out and trying to take HUDs off before an outfit feels complete. I dislike letting people down, so I've not wanting to blog because what if I miss someone? My memory is shotty.. some designers depend on us, y'know?

I miss you guys and showing you the fun things I play with, so I've decided I'm going to make this less of a really fun and artistic strap on a ton of stuff until an outfit feels complete and I feel like I've done the most creative thing I could with the goodies for you before coming to you guys and turn in to a more simple OOTD type blog where I focus more on the cute things I like and accent them, one or two at a time, with a little information about them. :3

As far as super artsy pictures go, I suck at it and I'm not trying. If that's all that's popular I'm sorry guys I dun have that in me. If you like the cute things I come up with though, get ready to smile because I'll be back with some kinda something! Fantasy Break!

The creators of Tanoshi have been on a bit of a fantasy break this winter, though we are all slowly working in our own ways for things for you guys!! While my blog's been closed I've spent my time learning new things and getting my weight and health in order. After much debate, I've decided to go back on the medication I was on in MA that kept my pain at bay so it can help me continue my journey. I've been apologizing to people I've wronged in the past that I thought would accept an apology and have even been speaking to some people I loved and lost and have regained. On top of it all my bbygirl put out her first music video with her new label that. Has. me. Screaming. So on top of showing off her adorable dalmatian & Meow choker I'm linking the video to this post which I normally don't do since I'm like whatever and in my zone with my music (and I dunno how literally learning something new to do this lmao.)

In my post with me I am wearing a ton of Epic Goodies because I love these omega appliers and this corset and these sleeves and these wiiiiingsssss. Using hearts and stars for constellations is so cute... *~* I'm in looove. Genre's doing it up viking style so I put my cat arse in a setting covered in goodies from their event with a few others that made me squeal and Purpsie and I came to say hi! If the medication switch goes well I should not only be a much nicer person, once again (thankfully lol I've been so cranky), but I should also be around more. YAAAY for those who missed mee? <3 <3

So I know I said I’d be coming back here and there between times of things catching my eyes, so I hope you guys were wanting to hear from me now with the release of Bento finally having gone live for both SL and Firestorm! I have a Catwa Catya head, and the Vista Bento hands, and my friend Saigey and I twinned it up in similar shapes and outfits to show you guys some cute things in the grid right now along with the new Bento us! :3

Bento is exciting for Tanoshi as well because we’ve been waiting for it to release a few things we’ve been working on! :3 We hope this helps creativity abound and fun soar! Speaking of creativity abound, Epic released some cuuuute booties and horns last weekend and we used a bunch of those with this decor from Genre’s Disco round (Which is over, I’m late I’m sorry but check out mainstores for these items!) for a jam session type look and feels because I’ve been listening to a lot of music while working out. :3 9lbs to go before I reach goal number 1 which I wanted to reach by the first! I hope everyone’s happy and healthy, and getting through the holiday season well.

Busy Mode: On!

 Man times flies when you’re having fun. I’m coming to officially close my blog to you guys. Over the last week I’ve been telling sponsors of mine that I am officially not blogging anymore. I mean, unofficially when I get things I love I’ll show, but I will have no hard feelings for anyone deciding to stop following me as my updates will continue to be as infrequent as they have been! My priorities have changed and I’m living out of second life more than in it right now. So let’s talk about these goodies, huh? I love this hair~ I’ve wanted French braids irl lately and a friend of my sister’s Kitty gives them to me while we roll around on the floor and do yoga. It’s a super fun and chill experience. The amazing body suit combo I have on is an Epic release mixed with a Melon Bunny release. Both of these are older and probably in the main stores alreay. I’m waaay behind! xD The Arm bands which I was going for like an in movement look are from Cubic Cherry and the pose is from Fawn’s Demise. (It’s like mid fall, it’s so cute!!)
